2011 Dow signed a letter of intent with the Skolkovo Foundation to define steps for Dow's participation in the Skolkovo project, which aims to become a science and technology complex in Russia for the development and commercialization of innovative technologies.
2011 Dow signed a memorandum of understanding with Russian Nanotechnology Organization to work on issues related to energy efficiency, infrastructure, light-weight materials, and life sciences.
2010 Dow became an Official Olympic Sponsor and has been working to expand its presence in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Games.
