How to Use This Site

As a leading science and technology company, with world-class manufacturing plants around the world, The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates and subsidiaries continue to update equipment to meet their changing needs. The equipment and materials listed on this site are surplus or used, and these assets are available for sale or redeployment.

Available items are either listed individually for immediate sale (under Surplus/Used Equipment for Sale) or combined with other items in a location bid package for competitive bidding (under Location Bid Packages). Dow, Dow subsidiary and Dow affiliate sites wishing to redeploy the equipment are given first preference during the first 30 days after posting, but all offers will be considered.

Surplus/Used Equipment for Sale is divided into equipment categories. Select the category page you are interested in to see a listing of items in that category. You can either browse through the entire listing in that category or use one or more of the pulldown menu boxes at the top of the page to filter the items displayed on the page. Once you find an item of interest on the page, click on the Listing Number to access a page with more details. From that detail page, you can make an offer online or request additional information. You can also register to be notified via email when new listings become available.

Location Bid Packages are divided by Dow, affiliate or subsidiary location. Select a location to view a description of the package and to download an offer form and instructions. The offer form must be filled in, signed and mailed in a sealed envelope to the address listed in the instructions. All offers will be kept sealed until the end of the bidding period, and the winning bidder will be notified.
