Lease Information

Among other requirements, a credit check will be done on all potential lessees, and a contract agreement will be signed before the first car can ship.
All cars are furnished subject to inspection and acceptance by the lessee. Loading of the car will constitute acceptance.
Rental rate for each car is on a per car per month basis which covers the rail car only.
Rental and mileage begin the date of forwarding to the customer and continue until the car arrives back to the origin point.
Upon return of the cars they may be inspected to determine if there is any damage (e.g., missing material, corrosion, etc.) or any additional cleaning required for which lessee will be solely responsible.
Cars must be returned in a cleaned condition by lessee unless otherwise agreed upon.

The Dow Chemical Company requires a credit check prior to finalizing any sublease agreement. Simply complete the credit check form and either mail or fax to the address listed at the top of the form.

Upon finalizing the terms of the agreement, The Dow Chemical Company will forward to your attention two executable agreements for signature. When executed by the sublessee, both agreements shall be forwarded to The Dow Chemical Company for signature. A fully executed agreement will be returned to the sublessee.
