Injury and Illness Rate

Since 1994, we have improved our recordability rate by 88 percent. The safety of our employees, the site and our community remains our highest priority. 2005 represents both the lowest OSHA recordable rate in the history of Texas Operations and more importantly the least number of people injured.

Motor Vehicle Incidents

The motor vehicle accident rate decreased by 15 percent in 2005. The site exceeded its goal of achieving a 50 percent reduction in 2005 based on 1994 results. Texas Operations reduced its motor vehicle accident rate by more than 61 percent from 1994 to 2005.
