Each year the Dow Texas Operations' Community Advisory Panel reviews and provides commentary on the Texas Operations Public Report. These validations provide Dow an opportunity to enhance communications.

The most recent community opinion survey conducted in October 2004 by an independent pollster, at the request of Dow Texas Operations, revealed that 84 percent of those polled responded that overall they felt favorable toward Dow. The random survey, conducted by telephone, was comprised of 600 adult respondents in the Brazosport area. Factors cited as influences on favorability included community involvement, employment opportunities and economic benefits to the community. The next community perception survey is being conducted in 2007.
