Injury and Illness Rate

The injury and illness rate recorded here includes both Dow employees and contractors working at St. Charles Operations. The personal safety performance from 2005 to 2006 did not show any improvement. There were, however, 2 less injuries in 2006 than in 2005, and there was only 1 Day Away from Work Case vs. 2 in the last two years. There are several safety improvement efforts throughout the site to drive the long term improvement in personal safety performance.
