Injury and Illness Rate

With employee and contractor safety at the forefront of every activity that occurs at our manufacturing plants, Michigan Operations has a philosophy of “zero tolerance” for injuries. Using the “Drive to Zero” motto, we make an injury-free workplace our highest priority.

Since 1994, the injury and illness rate for Michigan Operations has decreased significantly. In 2006, the OSHA recordable rate was 0.39 — showing a significant 25 percent improvement over last year.
