Injury and Illness Rate

The Louisiana Operations Plaquemine Site was recertified in 2006 as an OSHA STAR among STARs Voluntary Protection Program site. This represents sixteen consecutive years that the site has been so honored by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Although performance in 2006 continued to place Louisiana Operations in a select group in industry, it was not at the level achieved in 2005, our best year ever. We will continue to focus our efforts in achieving consistent excellence in safety as we now strive toward our new 2015 goal of a 0.08 injury-illness rate.

Motor Vehicle Incidents

Efforts are continuing to further reduce motor vehicle incidents at the Plaquemine site.
