Last year was another great year for Texas City Operations (TCO). We continued on our journey toward outstanding safety performance. The site received the prestigious President’s Award for Excellence in Environmental Health and Safety. This is the highest internal recognition for safety performance that a site can receive within Dow. This is the second year that Texas City Operations has been recognized for excellent performance in heath and process safety. The safety performance in 2005 demonstrates the strong commitment that our employees have to operating our plant safely. We hope that you will review our 2005 Public Report. It will provide a good overview of our success and improvements that were made last year.
