Dow’s Michigan Operations serves as one of the strongest economic anchor points in our area, employing nearly 3,000 people in the Tri-Cities. Taxes
Taxes paid by any company are an important indication of its impact on the local economy. In 2005 in Michigan, Dow paid nearly $30 million in corporate income taxes, property taxes, and the employer’s portion of payroll taxes.
