Dow’s goal is zero NOV’s and Compliance Orders. We will continue to focus on improving our processes to meet this goal. |

Fines and Penalties
In 2004, Louisiana Operations agreed to pay a fine for failure to submit a report on time — due to a computer error (there was no environmental impact due to this event). Also in 2004, Louisiana Operations paid a fine for the unauthorized release of a chemical to the surface water. Louisiana Operations promptly reported the release and took actions to prevent any environmental impact from this event. |

Number of Community Complaints
The Dow Hotline, (225) 353-2DOW or 2369, is available for anyone to call in a question or concern. Whenever a call is received, Dow Emergency Services & Security or Public Affairs responds as quickly as possible to ensure that the caller's request is met. Examples of inquiries are delays in traffic due to Dow's train crossing the highway, a request for information or a suggestion. |
