Last year, the La Porte site was recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency, as the 1000th Facility in the nation to achieve the EPA’s environmental indicators. The award was presented to the site by EPA officials in a ceremony held in May 2004. In addition to this honor the La Porte site was honored by the Texas Chemical Council with the Caring for Texas Award. These accomplishments demonstrate the hard work and commitment of employees to make Houston Operations a safe and productive place to work.
