Injury and Illness Rate
The injury and illness incident rate includes reportable incidents as defined by US OSHA for our total workforce, including contractors. The Pacific rate is our best on record and is lower than the Dow global average. Most Pacific incidents are usually not chemical related but involve primarily sprains, falls and cuts. |

Motor Vehicle Incidents
The Motor Vehicle Incident Rate reflects the number of accidents involving Dow employees or contractors driving company vehicles or other vehicles on company business. While any motor vehicle accident is one too many, the Pacific performance is not only improving but is better than Dow's 2003 global average. |
