Leaks, Breaks and Spills
This measurement includes all leaks and spills from processing equipment and facilities, even those which are captured and cause no environmental impact. Most of these incidents involve relatively small volumes of low-hazard materials. Over this period there were no leaks and spills categorized as serious, but overall performance was flat and is a focus for improvement. |

Transportation Incidents
Transportation safety incidents include all moderate to serious events occurring during shipment of product from Dow to our customers, measured per 10,000 shipments. The Pacific has shown real improvement, but has now flattened out, and the focus is now to sustain and improve these gains. |
