Chemical Emissions
Emissions of more than 1,000 chemicals are tracked at Dow manufacturing sites around the world. The Pacific has seen progress at all sites, and this generally improving total includes the many new sites which have been added over recent years. |

Emissions of Priority Compounds
Although Dow works to reduce all emissions, special priority is given to compounds which are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT's) carcinogens, ozone depleters and high-volume toxics. The Pacific has no significant emissions of PBT's and the other categories are generally improving, although the relatively small volume can create yearly variations. |
