Dow Announces Price Increase for Propylene Oxide / Propylene Glycols

Midland, MI - May 01, 2006

The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow") will increase prices for propylene oxide (PO), propylene glycol industrial grade (PGI), propylene glycol pharmaceutical grade (PG USP/EP), tripropylene glycol regular grade (TPG) and tripropylene glycol acrylate grade (TPG Ac) by $0.05/lb in the Americas and the Caribbean, effective June 1, 2006.

This follows the $0.05/lb increase Dow recently announced for dipropylene glycol regular grade (DPG) and dipropylene glycol LO+ grade (DPG LO+) in the Americas and the Caribbean, effective May 1, 2006.
