Description

PARALOID EXL-2300/3300 is an all-acrylic core/shell impact modifier based on butyl-acrylate rubber. It provides high impact strength at temperatures as low as -10°C and has an inherently good heat and UV stability. Other benefits include excellent part surface finish with a good retention of part rigidity.

Impact Strength of Polycarbonate at 23°C

PARALOID EXL-2300/3300 increases the toughness of Polycarbonate to super tough performance at a modifier loading as low as 3%, even in thick sections as shown here.

Retention of Properties after Ageing

PARALOID EXL-2300/3300 significantly increases the heat stability of Polycarbonate, and enhances the impact after ageing.

Impact Strength in Glass Filled PC

An addition level of just 5% of PARALOID EXL- 2300/3300 improves the impact strength of glass filled Polycarbonate.
