Before use, the adhesive must be homogenized and its temperature close to 20°C. Application of the adhesive can be done by brushing or by spraying on the substrate. The flock is then applied (Polyamide or Polyester), and the adhesive film is crosslinked under I.R. or by passing through a hot air tunnel.
The flock holds well as soon as the flocked profile cools down. Maximum performances however are obtained within 2-3 days.
After use, the equipment must be cleaned with solvents like MIBK.
When transfering product out of the original containers into the gluing station, it is recommended to work under a light nitrogen pressure to avoid any contact with the air humidity.
Keep containers tightly closed to avoid any reaction with the air humidity.
Product taken out of the container must be entirely used; never put back product in the container.
The shelf life of the product is 6 months if stored in unopened original containers at temperatures between 15 and 30°C.
Please read the MSDS carefully to learn more about the precautions to take when storing and handling this product.
