DOWANOL™ PnB Glycol Ether

DOWANOL™ PnB glycol ether is partly water soluble and miscible with most organic solvents, and provides excellent surface-tension lowering ability. This product does an excellent job of solvating and coupling hydrophobic greases and oils in both household and industrial cleaners, as well as offers good coalescing ability in coatings systems that require fast evaporation.

Used in:

  • Household and industrial cleaners, grease and paint removers, metal cleaners, and hard surface cleaners
  • Water and solvent-based coatings
  • Epoxides, acid ester derivatives, solvents and plasticizers
  • Water-based agricultural formulations
