BUTYL CELLOSOLVE™ Acetate

Butyl CELLOSOLVE™ Acetate Solvent is a high boiling, slow evaporating solvent that has limited water solubility, but is miscible with alcohols and ketones. This solvent exhibits good compatibility with various coatings resins, and has shown excellent results in numerous coatings applications.

Used in:

  • Waterborne latex coatings
  • Specialty printing inks

Advantages:

  • Superior dispersion stability
  • Low surface tension for good wetting of substrate and better adhesion
  • Good tolerance for aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons
  • Good coalescing efficiency
  • Slow evaporation rate
