CARBITOL™ Solvent
Solvents that provide a good balance of volatility, solvency and water solubility for such applications as coatings and printing inks

BUTYL CARBITOL™ Solvent	A slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether for a wide range of applications
HEXYL CARBITOL™ Solvent	Slow evaporating solvent that displays a strong hydrocarbon-type solvency and is used with coatings, cleaners and inks
METHYL CARBITOL™ Solvent	Very hydrophilic, slow-evaporating glycol ether with strong active solvency properties used across a broad range of applications
CARBITOL™ Solvent	Fast-acting solvent with a high boiling point and low vapor pressure used in coatings, cleaners and textile applications
BUTYL CARBITOL™ Acetate	A high boiling, slow evaporating ester solvent for use in coatings and printing inks
Methyl CARBITOL™	Methyl CARBITOL™ Solvent is used as an additive in jet fuels to prevent ice buildup in fuel lines and to inhibit growth of bacteria in fuel tanks of primarily military and private aircraft.
CARBITOL™	Dow Oxygenated Solvents such as DOWANOL™ glycol ether, CELLOSOLVE™ glycol ether, CARBITOL™ glycol ethers and isopropanol, increase the effectiveness of household and institutional cleaners and degreasers and allow wide formulating opportunities. Additional benefits are low odor, low toxicity and good biodegradability.
