PLEASE NOTE: Effective August 16, 2010, invoices for the North American region (USA and Canada) are to be mailed to the following address:

Announcement of Sale to AkzoNobel
The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow") announced in November 2009 that it signed an agreement to sell its Powder Coatings Business (the "Business") to Akzo Nobel N.V. ("AkzoNobel"), a leading producer of paints and coatings based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The transaction is expected to close May 31, 2010, though it is subject to customary closing conditions.
Important Vendor Information to do business with AkzoNobel
You should be aware that purchase orders and bills of lading issued by the Business after the closing date will be under the name of the applicable AkzoNobel legal entity. Please pay attention to the 'mail to' address for your invoice to AkzoNobel. Dow will be providing AkzoNobel with a limited amount of procurement transactional services for a brief period of time following the closing. Payments to vendors for transactions effected as of or after the Closing will be made by AkzoNobel.
As of the closing date, it is very important that vendors reference the correct AkzoNobel "bill to" legal entity name and the correct purchase order number or document shipping number, as the case may be, on each invoice in order to be paid in a timely fashion.
Please communicate this information through your organization. Your AkzoNobel Purchasing or Supply Chain Manager will be your contact after the closing.
