Engineered Films & Laminates PROCITE* Window Envelope Business Awarded Citation of Excellence for 2nd year

Midland, MI - June 06, 2003

Tension Envelope Corporation, a customer of the Engineered Films & Laminates PROCITE* Window Envelope Business in North America recently awarded Dow with the Citation of Excellence Award. This award program was established in 1983 by Tension Envelope Corporation to recognize superior supplier performance. This is the second time that Dow has been a recipient of the award. The criteria for evaluating supplier performance is based on objective data received through Tension’s enterprise system and through input from each of their 11 operating plants across North America. Recipients of the Award must attain an average rating of 95% in 5 key areas:

Product Quality
Delivery Performance
Pricing and Invoice accuracy
Customer Service Performance
Technical and Sales Support

A special award ceremony will be held later in 2003 with John Berchin, Dow Account Executive, on hand to receive the award. Presenting the award to Dow will be Bill Berkley, President & CEO, Bert Berkley, Chairman of the Board & Dick Berkley, Secretary & Treasurer.
