Dow Announces Propylene Glycol and Propylene Oxide Price Increases in North America Midland, MI - March 13, 2008 The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”) announced today that, effective April 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, it will increase off-list prices in North America (United States & Canada) by US$0.06 per pound for the following products:
Dow also announced today that, effective April 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, it will increase off-list price in North America (United States & Canada) by US$0.10 per pound for Propylene Oxide (PO). About Dow PO/PG Dow is the world’s largest producer of propylene oxide (PO) and propylene glycols (PG), with a global annual capacity of around 1.9 million tons for PO and more than one billion pounds for PG. Dow’s PO / PG product offering includes PO, propylene glycol industrial grade (PGI), propylene glycol USP/EP grade (PG USP/EP), dipropylene glycol regular grade (DPG), dipropylene glycol LO+ grade (DPG LO+) and tripropylene glycol regular grade (TPG) and tripropylene glycol acrylate grade (TPG Ac).
