Dow Announces Price Increase in Europe / IMEA for Polyols and Isocyanates

Horgen, Switzerland - September 12, 2007

Effective 1 October 2007, or as contract terms allow, the Polyurethanes business of The Dow Chemical Company will raise its prices in Europe for toluene diisocyanate (TDI) by 100 Euro/MT. In IMEA, prices for flexible polyols and TDI will increase by 100 $/MT.

“This increase reflects the persistently high input costs, which continue to have a significant impact on our cost of production, as well as the strong demand situation we are experiencing,” says Sudhir Shenoy, Product Manager Europe/IMEA. Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
