Dow Announces Price Increases for MDI in Europe, Middle East/Africa, and Indian Subcontinent
Horgen, Switzerland - May 01, 2007 Effective May 1, 2007, The Dow Chemical Company has increased prices in Europe for Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanates (MDI) by 100 Euro/MT. Similar price increases have been implemented in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent. “Continued volatility in raw materials and energy costs coupled with increased demand globally are the driving forces behind this price increase,” said Sudhir Shenoy, European product marketing manager, Dow Polyurethanes.
