Dow to Increase Prices of Oxygenated Solvents
Midland, MI - August 20, 2009 The Dow Chemical Company announced that it will raise both the list and off-list prices for several products in the Oxygenated Solvents portfolio in North America effective September 1, 2009, or as contracts allow. The price increases range from $0.08 - $0.10 per pound. This increase is driven by the dramatic change in raw material supply and cost. The current shortage in feedstock supply is resulting in allocation announcements and significant cost escalation. Dow is committed to implementing this price increase in order to maintain margins and reinvest in the future growth of our business. About Dow For Editorial Information: Alicia Shawl |
