The following Dow Oxygenated Solvents are particularly effective as inert ingredients in agricultural pesticides. Since active ingredients in the pesticides are typically insoluble in water, these oxygenated solvents work as co-solvents because of their surfactant-like nature. When used as inert ingredients in pesticide formulations, they are exempt from tolerance requirements.
