Industrial Maintenance

Industrial maintenance coatings are formulated to control corrosion in the interior and exterior of industrial plants and related equipment. Industries using these paints include oil refineries, natural gas processing plants, and other fossil fuel conversion plants. Industrial coatings are also used in pulp and paper mills, food processing plants, and public utilities as well as to protect structures such as bridges and tanks.

Dow Oxygenated Solvents are used in solvent-based industrial maintenance coatings because of their evaporation range, high dilution ratios, and excellent solvency in water-based industrial maintenance paints as coupling agents, and as coalescing agents in latex industrial maintenance finishes.
