Raw material costs continue to remain at extremely high levels. As recently reported in the press by Dow CEO Andrew Liveris, Dow will also implement a freight surcharge effective August 1, 2008 on all Seller Absorbs Freight shipments to recover escalating transportation costs. We can no longer absorb these dramatic increases and need to take the actions necessary to offset the rising costs to manufacture and transport our products and remain a strong and reliable supplier.
