Midland, MI - December 14, 2007

Dow has announced today that it will increase all off-list and list prices globally for all grades of monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA), and Amine SD, effective January 1, 2008, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms. Dow will increase prices for these products by US$0.05/lb to direct customers and US$0.045/lb to distribution.

This price increase is necessary due to the strong demand for ethanolamines combined with market conditions.
