Patrick M. Gipson is the site maintenance and services leader for FilmTec Corporation, a division of Dow Water & Process Solutions, located in Edina, Minn. In this role, he is responsible for leading the site maintenance, logistics and information systems groups at the Edina facilities. Gipson is also focused on leading safe and reliable operations of the company's plants and processes.
An 11-year employee of The Dow Chemical Company, Gipson has held a variety of responsibilities including run plant engineer and research engineer for Dow Pharma and improvement engineer for Dow Biocides' Technical Center. Gipson began his career in the research assignments program for Dow Central Research.
He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, and serves as a member of the Engineering Career Resource Center Advisory Council for the university.
