Greg Butler is the human resources site services leader for FilmTec Corporation, a division of Dow Water & Process Solutions, based in Edina, Minn. In this role, he is responsible for the support of Edina Operations' expanding workforce, which is necessary to achieve the site's business objectives.
Prior to joining Dow Water Solutions in 2004, Butler served as plant genetics and biotechnology human resources manager where he supported the build-up and integration of research and development resources for DowAgroSciences, including Mycogen Seeds Sales and U.S. Crops Marketing and Sales. Butler's work in human resources also includes the position of human resources development manager in quality and people development. While in this role, he implemented and facilitated training courses which impacted individual, team and organizational performance.
Butler also has an extensive background in Dow's sales organization. He has held numerous positions in the company, including herbicide marketing specialist and dealer territory manager. Butler began his career with Dow Agricultural Products in 1979 as a sales representative in the West Central Region - Minneapolis District.
