Érica Takeda

Érica Takeda is responsible for leading all business activities in the region, including market plan implementation, sales deployment and technical sales/service support, strategic partnerships and alliances, as well as leadership for all employees in the customer application center in this region.

Érica joined Dow in Brazil working for technical service and development in 1989. Since then, she has held a variety of positions in TS&D and technical sales within Dow's performance chemicals group. In 2005, she was appointed product manager for polyglycols and surfactants in Guaruja, Brazil, and industry manager for natural resources Latin America. Érica was supply chain improvement leader for basic and performance chemicals in Latin America, and was a Six Sigma champion for the commercial function in Brazil. Most recently she served as regional commercial manager for Dow Biocides and ANGUS Chemical Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company.

Érica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration from Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil. She also holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Business School Sao Paulo-University of Toronto, and an MBA in Supply Chain from FIPECAFI/USP, Brazil.
