Global Strategic Marketing Manager for Energy

Bill Logan is the Global Strategic Marketing Manager for Dow Microbial Control’s energy market. In this role, he is responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of global market plans with accountability for global revenue and growth in the target markets. In addition, Bill is a member of the Dow Microbial Control Portfolio Management Team (PMT), where he assists in the innovation management process.

Bill joined Dow in 2010 as a Market Excellence Manager, where he served as a consultant on strategic marketing and innovation growth strategies for several businesses in both the Performance and Advanced Materials Divisions. In early 2011, he was named AMPS Deployment Leader for the Advanced Materials Division and drove adoption of key AMPS innovation practices such as the Project Success Leader role and stage gate process.

Before Dow, Bill worked at Snow Machines, Inc. as Director of Sales and Marketing, where he was responsible for commercial personnel, as well as developing new business to diversify sales geographically and in the energy and construction markets. Prior to that, he worked in Strategic Marketing and New Business Development roles in several industries at Dow Corning, Novacor Chemicals and Himont.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
