Nanette Hermsen,
Strategic Marketing Manager for Process Preservation
Nanette is responsible for the Gas and Oil, Water Treatment, Pulp, Paper and Mineral Slurries, Metalworking Fluids and Fuel markets, leading the strategic development and implementation of global market plans with accountability for global revenue and growth in the target markets.
Nanette joined Dow in 1988 as part of the commercial development program in sales training. In 1989, she moved into a field sales role for performance products in Houston, Texas before relocating to Los Angeles, California as an account manager in Epoxy products and intermediates in 1991. In 1995, Nanette was promoted to senior account manager for Epoxy products and intermediates and moved to Chicago, Illinois. In 2001, Nanette was named North American marketing manager for Dow Biocides and most recently served as global marketing manager for Dow Biocides in 2004.
Nanette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She is located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
