KATHON FP 1.5 

Trusted for decades for use in fuels, KATHON FP 1.5 is effective against bacteria and fungi in a wide range of fuel preservation applications. Manufactured exclusively for the fuel market, KATHON FP 1.5 contains the widely used CMIT/MIT active in a solvent of dipropylene glycol (mixed isomers), rather than water. Low product dosages of 0.01% to 0.04% (100 to 400 ppm) product, as supplied, are required for antimicrobial efficacy. A maximum dosage of 400 ppm product delivers only 1.4 ppm sulfur, and the minimum dosage of 100 ppm product delivers 0.3 ppm sulfur.

KATHON FP 1.5 is the only Dow Microbial Control product approved for use in aviation fluids. The Federal Aviation Administration must be consulted as to the acceptability of the additive for use in specific engines and/or aircraft.

FUELSAVER 

Supplied by Dow for more than 25 years, FUELSAVER products are trusted to protect a variety of fuel systems for effective treatment against bacteria and fungi. The active ingredients do not contain sulfur, which makes FUELSAVER a good choice for low sulfur systems. FUELSAVER is approved for both professional/industrial use, as well as approved distribution channels, such as marinas. FUELSAVER can be dosed at high concentrations for shock treatment of contaminated systems, as well as low concentrations for preventive maintenance treatments.

FUELSAVER 40 LT 

This new product from Dow Microbial Control offers the added advantage of a lower product freezing point than the original FUELSAVER product. FUELSAVER 40 LT is freeze-resistant down to -20°C (-4°F), a significant advancement from the traditional FUELSAVER, which can freeze at +10°C (+50°F). Like FUELSAVER, FUELSAVER 40 LT is EPA-registered, contains the same active ingredients, and can be used in a variety of fuel application areas.

BIOBAN GA 50 

Containing the popular active ingredient glutaraldehyde, BIOBAN GA 50 allows fuel customers to utilize the same effective treatment downstream as is frequently used in upstream gas and oil applications. BIOBAN GA 50 is rapidly effective against bacteria and fungi, usually within minutes to a few hours. The active ingredient does not contain sulfur.
