In the Great Lakes Bay Region you can find attractive boutiques, quaint shops and unique eateries within a comfortable drive, making this region a shopper’s haven.

The Midland Mall offers four department stores and more than 60 specialty and brand-name shops. To the east and southeast you can find the Bay City Mall in Bay City and the Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw. The malls and shopping districts in these cities lure the most discriminating buyers. Farther south are the Prime Outlets at Birch Run, the Midwest’s largest outlet center where you can find everything from designer clothes to top-of-the-line home goods at discount prices. Higher-end stores are located at Somerset Collection in Troy, near metropolitan Detroit.

In the famous town of Frankenmuth, you can find a variety of quaint specialty stores, as well as Bronner’s, the largest Christmas store in the country.  In Bay City, boutiques and antique stores abound in the historic downtown district, and in the summertime, Farmer’s Markets open in Midland, Bay City and Saginaw.
