At Dow Louisiana, we help build better futures through our support for education.  In particular, Dow is focused on the need to improve the quality of math, science and technology education.

We are a strong advocate for education and we are proud to nurture the future workforce that can help solve real challenges and positively impact the quality of life around the world.

Through Louisiana’s DowGIVES program – which encompasses grants, partnerships and volunteerism – we identify and support educational programs that will return the most value to our site communities across the state.

Dow donates $1 million to LCTCS foundation for Iberville Tech College

A new technical college campus featuring an Industrial Maintenance curriculum is coming to Iberville Parish, thanks to $3.4 million in state funding and a $1 million grant by The Dow Chemical Company to be donated to the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) Foundation. Read more

Enhancing Process Technology Curriculum, Equipment Propels Learning

We’ve become a society that works more with our minds and less with our hands. That change – being less mechanically inclined -- has affected the ability to operate and troubleshoot complex equipment, technical systems, computers and instrumentation. Since this is a critical skill that keeps manufacturing plants running well, Dow Louisiana approached Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) to help solve the problem through enhanced education.
