DIRECTOR Services: Membrane Element Analysis

FilmTec offers membrane element testing services to its customers for a nominal fee. Elements can be tested to determine their suitability for continued operation or to troubleshoot problems in your reverse osmosis or nanofiltration system. In addition to test results, we provide a complete report with a description of the tests performed and the implications of the test results on your operation.

Seven test options (44KB PDF) are available ($US):

  1. Service Package 1
    Complete analysis of large membrane element: $1250/element
     
  2. Service Package 2
    Physical inspection, performance test and autopsy: $300/element
     
  3. Service Package 3
    For home drinking water membrane element: $100/element
     
  4. Water Analysis
    $300/sample
     
  5. Oxidative Testing
    Electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis: $350/element
     
  6. X-ray Evaluation
    Fluorescence: $100/up to four samples
     
  7. Cleaning
    $250/element (in combination with Service Packages)
