Dow Water & Process Solutions, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company and its consolidated subsidiaries (Dow) will present at the Mining World Central Asia in Almaty, Kazakhstan, September 16-18, 2009.  Dow Water & Process Solutions ion exchange resins remove impurities, including traces of toxic organics and metals, from chemical processing applications, preventing environmental discharge, helping companies to meet regulatory requirements and improving the purity and value of products.

As part of the event, Areski Rezkallah's , chemical processing application development specialist, will give a presentation on "Ion Exchange Resins  in Hydrometallurgy" on  September 17, 2009 from 2:00- 3:00 pm in seminar room 16B, pavilion 9B.

In addition, IX is easily adapted to a great variety of processes including moving packed beds or resin-in-pulp (RIP), the latter process driving significant capital expenditure (Capex) reduction.
