POLYOX™ Water-Soluble Resins are used in aqueous formulations designed to suppress dusts on mining haul roads, in ore processing plants, and at construction locations.

Flocculation

POLYOX Resins are used extensively as flocculating agents in mining operations. High molecular weight grades of POLYOX Water-Soluble Resins, sold as UCARFLOC™ Flocculating Agents, effectively adsorb onto many colloidal materials and perform as efficient flocculating agents. They exhibit a high affinity for a variety of materials, including silica, clays, and oxidized coal fines. These polymers are used in hydrometallurgical operations for recovering beryllium, uranium, copper, and gold.
