Boven Recognized with SWE Award

Michelle Boven has been recognized by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) with their 2006 Region H Professional Development Award.  Under Michelle’s co-chairmanship, participation in the 2006 Detroit Professional Development Conference increased 50%, with a total of 114 participants in the 2006 event. This increase in participation, the first use of on-line registration for an event, and number of professional development sessions made the conference a success in providing professional development and networking opportunities.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization.
