The Problem
Intrusive noise doesn't come only from loud music and parties; in her semi-detached house in Edinburgh Mrs. R was troubled by noise from her elderly neighbour. Although he was not a noisy man Mrs. R could hear his television and the resonance of his deep voice through the party wall which divided the 1980s houses. The situation was so bad Mrs. R was contemplating moving house.

The Solution
But before she resorted to such an extreme measure she read of a new product which might solve her noise problem. Mrs. R contacted the IMMOTUS* technical desk, who advised her on the installation of IMMOTUS R+ to her sitting room.

The installation of IMMOTUS R+ along the party wall took only half a day and did not involve a specialist installer. Mrs. R suffered very little disruption, she had only to move the sitting room furniture into one half of the room. The total cost of the project was £450.

The Outcome
Mrs. R is delighted with the results, her sitting room is "very quiet" and she has not been troubled by noise from her neighbour since IMMOTUS R+ was installed. Mrs. R commented, "I am very pleased with the neatness – it does not take up very much room at all. The installation was very successful and I would not hesitate to have IMMOTUS installed in my bedroom in the future."

Finishing of the IMMOTUS R+ surface is done in line with standard dry lining practice.	The IMMOTUS R+ system has been installed causing a minimum of disturbance: the furniture was simply moved aside towards the other end of the living room.
