Structural
IMMOTUS* R+ panels have structural strength similar to normal plasterboard. |
Fire
When tested to BS 476: Part 6: 1989 the plasterboard component of IMMOTUS R+ panels achieves
Class 0 rating, as defined in Approved Document B, Appendix A (Technical Standard E6.1 in Scotland). Whilst IMMOTUS foam contains a fire retardant additive to inhibit ignition from a small fire source, it is combustible and should not be exposed to a flame or ignition source during shipment, installation or use.
Biological
IMMOTUS R+ panels are not susceptible to rot, mould nor fungal growth.
Durability
The IMMOTUS R+ system has a service life comparable to most permanent building components.
Acoustic
The effectiveness of a noise control system will be affected by the composition of the entire building
element. Acoustic Performance Walls and Ceilings show the results of laboratory tests of the IMMOTUS R+ system with typical constructions. Further information on interpreting test results can be found in the Guide to Acoustics and Hear the Difference sections.
