Stefan Vos is the Human Resources Director for Dow Chemical India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA), a role he assumed in April 2009. Since joining Dow in 2000, Stefan has held a variety of leadership roles within Human Resources and Organizational Development.
From 2000 to 2003, Stefan was the Work Force Planning Leader for Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands). In 2003, he was named Senior Organizational Development Leader for Dow, delivering support as an internal consultant to leadership across multiple functions and geographies with a focus on organizational design, change management, strategic planning and empowerment.
From 2005 to 2008, Stefan played an active role driving Dow’s transformational strategy as he was seconded to two Dow joint ventures with Petrochemical Industries Company K.S.C. (PIC) of Kuwait: MEGlobal (2005-2008) and Equipolymers (2005-2006). Stefan was responsible for HR operations and strategy for both companies. He also represented the interests of MEGlobal in the Global Service Agreement offered by Dow. Before being named to his current role, Stefan served as the Human Resources Country Leader for India.
Prior to joining Dow, Stefan was a Consulting Manager with global consultancy Ernst & Young in Belgium. Stefan launched his career with Marc Inc. and the Belgian Government.
Stefan holds a Master Degree from the University of Louvain in Belgium. He is based in Dubai, UAE.
