Frank Luijckx is the Director of Business Services and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) for Dow Chemical in India, the Middle East and Africa (IMEA), a role he assumed in 2006. In his current role, Luijckx leads supply chain, purchasing, customer service and information services across a dynamic and growing region, which includes Dow joint ventures and megaprojects in the region.

Since joining Dow in 1976, Luijckx has played an instrumental role in transforming Dow’s information services strategy and architecture on a global scale. Luijckx began his career at Dow as a Process Engineer in Stade, Germany and subsequently held several positions in the Process Control group, followed by various information services leadership roles at Dow Europe headquarters in Horgen, Switzerland.

In 1989, Luijckx was named Global Application Development and Planning Manager at Company headquarters in Midland, Michigan. In this role, Luijckx led the implementation of Dow global systems, part of it as Manager of Global Diamond System Development and Delivery, Dow’s SAP implementation.

He returned to Dow Europe as Director of Information Systems Services in 1994 where he led the transformation of information services in Europe into a global organization. In 1997, Luijckx assumed the role of Information Services Leader for several Dow businesses. He returned to Midland and assumed additional responsibility for Dow’s Information Technology strategy and architecture.

Luijckx earned a bachelor’s degree in applied physics from the H.T.S in Dordrecht, The Netherlands. He is based in Dubai, UAE.
