Larry joined the litigation section of Dow’s legal department as a Senior Attorney in 1989 where he handled commercial and toxic tort litigation. In 1996, he was transferred to Dow Europe in Zurich, Switzerland where he worked as a Commercial and Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney handling issues in Western Europe and Asia for three years.
He returned to the U.S.A in 1998 to the role of Managing Counsel for Michigan operations legal, subsequently moving to the Plastics and Hydrocarbons Business Law Group as Managing Counsel in 2003. Larry was appointed to his current role and was named to the Legal Management Team in 2005. He and his staff of attorneys are responsible for all legal issues affecting the Basics Business Portfolio.
Larry received his B.A. from DePauw University in 1982 and his Juris Doctor from Dickinson School of Law in 1985. Prior to joining Dow he was an Associate at the firm of Sweeney, Sheehan and Spencer in Philadelphia, PA.
