In the India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) region, Dow has lived up to its commitment to “think globally and act locally.” Dow’s presence in the region began with the establishment of a joint venture in India followed by office openings in India, the Middle East and South Africa; all within 13 years from 1957 to 1970. In the 21st century Dow continues to invest in manufacturing sites, joint ventures, commercial offices and Centers of Excellence across this diverse region which today hosts a total of 26 Dow sites, including existing and proposed new joint ventures.
