MONOTHANE™ Single Component Polyurethane Elastomers

MONOTHANE™ Single Component Polyurethane Elastomers are polyester-based polyurethane elastomers. No mixing or dispensing equipment is needed. No vacuum degassing equipment is needed. An efficient air circulating oven is required for melt down at 70°C and curing at 135°C.

MONOTHANE Elastomers also overcome air entrapment, one of the major problems in manufacturing vertically cast rollers.  Several passes through a water-thin stage during the curing process, automatically degasses, producing bubble-free moldings. This is particularly important when making long rollers of small overall diameter.

MONOTHANE™ Single Component Polyurethane Elastomers offer a number of additional benefits including:
