Dow Formulated Systems, a business unit within The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow"), announces the launch of the DURELAST™ Bathtub Reinforcing System. DURELAST™ technology offers bathtub manufacturers cleaner and more efficient production. The new bathtub system will officially be launched at the K2010 Exhibition taking place October 27th - November 3rd in Düsseldorf, Germany. DURELAST™ Bathtub Reinforcing System creates a cleaner production process by reducing overspray and waste when compared to traditional methods. The polyurethane-based system creates a fine mist-like spray which lessens the overspray and saves time on trimming. Health and safety advantages are also achieved through the elimination of both noxious odors and the handling of glass fibers. The DURELAST™ system allows for a fully automated production process that can provide bathtub manufacturers with fast delivery times. Polyurethane mixing heads are lighter, more efficient and more reliable than ever before, making application of the DURELAST™ system easy and quick.
